A woman named Kim, aged 21, has been confirmed to be a psychopath following allegations that she secretly provided hangover remedies containing mind-altering substances, resulting in the deaths of two men in their twenties.

The Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul stated on the 4th that the findings from the Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R) assessment of Kim showed she “fulfills the requirements for being classified as a psychopath.” The same day, the police shared these results with the prosecutors.

A psychological assessment designed to measure characteristics linked to psychopathy, including coldness, impulsive behavior, absence of empathy, and irresponsibility. Made up of 20 questions with a maximum score of 40 points, people in South Korea are typically considered psychopathic if they achieve a score of 25 or more. Kim is said to have surpassed this limit.

Meanwhile, the police have launched a comprehensive inquiry into people who reached out to Kim in a way comparable to the victims. Previously, the police referred Kim to the prosecutor on the 19th regarding charges such as murder. The broader investigation seeks to identify if there are more individuals impacted by Kim.
