President Volodymyr Zelensky denounced the assault and urged a global reaction. He mentioned that Russia had deployed 29 missiles and 480 drones in attacks on Ukraine during the night, focusing on power infrastructure in Kyiv and central regions of the nation.

A different individual was killed in the eastern part of Dnipropetrovsk, while three others were injured in the capital city of Kyiv, according to local officials.
A 24-year-old man lost his life in his vehicle after it was struck by a Russian drone near the border of the Sumy region, as reported by local authorities.

In the southern Odessa region, 80 firefighters were deployed to tackle significant fires at infrastructure sites following a multi-drone assault.
