The United Arab Emirates reported that it shot down 15 ballistic missiles and 119 drones on Saturday, while Iran continued its assaults on its Gulf neighbor.
“UAE air defense systems identified today, Saturday, March 7th, 2026, 16 ballistic missiles, with 15 being intercepted and destroyed, while one missile landed in the sea,” the Ministry of Defense stated in a post on X.
Air defense systems also identified 121 UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), with 119 being shot down, while two entered the UAE’s territory.
