A video showing an assault in a high school classroom was shared on social media, leading authorities to initiate an investigation.

The Incheon Yeonsu Police Station stated on the 9th that it intends to look into Student A, a freshman high school pupil, for alleged assault.

Student A is being charged with repeatedly hitting and kicking Student B, a fellow student, inside a classroom at a high school in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, recently. The video of the attack was reportedly recorded and shared on Instagram and other social media sites.

The police stated that they worked with the Korea Communications Standards Commission, the Incheon Dongbu Education Support Office, and other entities to remove the video that was spreading on the internet.

Student B reportedly mentioned that Student A had been harassing him frequently and that he was physically assaulted when he refused to follow Student A’s instructions. A police representative stated, “We intend to call Student A soon for a detailed investigation.”
