An elderly man in his 70s, known as Mr. A, passed away when his body got stuck in a farm machine at a residence in Mujang-myeon, Gochang County, North Jeolla Province, around 12:05 p.m. on the 12th.

As per police inquiries, Mr. A was manipulating the steering mechanism with his feet on the floor when his body became entangled in the equipment.

Village inhabitants found Mr. A after he did not show up at a designated place. They went to his house and discovered him involved in an accident, then informed the authorities.

A law enforcement representative said, “We believe the chest region was compressed by the device for a prolonged time, resulting in his death,” and mentioned, “We are looking into the specific details.”
