The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has verified that a small aircraft crashed in Tema on Monday during a flight from Ho to Accra.
A statement released on March 16 by the regulator mentioned that the aircraft, registered as 9G-ADV, was anticipated to reach Accra at 1520 Zulu time (GMT). Nevertheless, the final radio communication with the plane took place at 1418 Z, just prior to the incident.
The officials stated that two individuals were aboard the plane when the accident occurred.
The GCAA did not promptly reveal the details of the incident or the status of those involved.
“More information will be shared at a later time,” the official stated in the announcement.
