Following Max Dowman’s actions against Everton, we have examined the top 10 young players in thePremier League.
Dowman established a new milestone as the youngest scorer in Premier League history this weekend and is aiming for it to serve as the starting point for a promising career that realizes his extraordinary potential.
Our evaluation of the top young talents in the Premier League considers both their future promise and current accomplishments, with athletes from Arsenal, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, and Wolves being recognized.
10. Josh Acheampong
Acheampong is still in the initial stages of his time at Chelsea, yet he has already demonstrated his capabilities in 37 matches to date.
A 19-year-old player, versatile in multiple defensive positions, secured a long-term deal in December 2024.

9. Myles Lewis-Skelly
Lewis-Skelly gained recognition with Arsenal during the previous season, making his initial 39 appearances at the senior level following his transition to a left-back position and also securing his first senior call-up for England.
A 19-year-old player has not been as noticeable this season, with discussions about a loan deal for next year, yet his talent is still considerable, regardless of whether he goes back to a midfield position or solidifies his standing as a full-back.
8. Lewis Miley
Miley debuted in the Premier League with Newcastle in May 2023, but this season has been the one where he has begun to establish himself in their strategy, appearing in 30 matches across all competitions.
In December, the flexible midfielder – capable of also playing as a right-back – netted his first Champions League goal at just 19 years old.
Recent injury problems have hindered his development, but Miley has a solid foundation to start from once he regains full health.
7. Rayan
It seems like a significant achievement for Bournemouth to have managed to acquire the Brazilian player Rayan in January, with a transfer fee approaching £25m.
The former Vasco da Gama player scored or provided an assist in each of his initial three Premier League matches, becoming just the third young player in the league’s history to achieve this feat, following Robbie Keane and Anthony Martial.
6. Ayden Heaven
Manchester United signed Heaven from Arsenal in February 2025, before he had played a single Premier League game. He has now made 17 appearances in the top division.
A left-footed defender had a solid period as a starting player for United during December and early January.
Even though his playing time has decreased since Michael Carrick became the manager, he still appears to be a promising talent for the future.
5. Rio Ngumoha
Ngumoha delivered one of the season’s most thrilling moments by scoring a last-minute goal against Newcastle in August during his Premier League debut, just before his 17th birthday.
The former Chelsea academy prospecthas acquired some additional chances recently, and although he hasn’t scored another goal yet, he continues to make an impression with his talent and capacity to beat opponents.
4. Mateus Mane
The Wolves are likely to face a tough season, yet there is a positive aspect in the rise of Mane, who might be one of the players offered an opportunity to extend their career in the top division with another team.
The forward goal scorer netted his initial goal in January when he was 18 and found the back of the net again a few days later. From that point onward, it has been extremely difficult for Wolves to exclude him as they look for any sparks of creativity.
Mane might attract significant transfer attention if Wolves face relegation, with both the England and Portugal national teams also interested in his future.
3. Eli Junior Kroupi
Kroupi has had a successful first season in the Premier League following his transfer from Lorient last year, netting eight goals in 25 appearances at just 19 years old.
The forward wasn’t competing in France’s top division last season, yet connections through multi-club ownership enabled Bournemouth to discover a promising talent for the future.
Kroupi is currently the top-scoring young player in the Premier League this season, having already surpassed last season’s record.
Only Lamine Yamal, Yan Diomande, and Said El Mala have scored more league goals than Kroupi among young players in Europe’s top five leagues this season.
2. Max Dowman
Dowman has been creating buzz at Arsenal for some time, despite turning 16 at the end of December.
The forward is beginning to live up to the expectations following his achievement as the youngest scorer in Premier League history, just a few months after making history as the youngest player to feature in the Champions League.
Dowman’s growth must be handled with care, but it is anticipated that he will pursue a successful professional path.
1. Estevao
Estevao has scored more goals in the Champions League than in the Premier League since joining Chelsea, but the 18-year-old’spotential is so highthat he needs to develop a habit of scoring goals in all areas as his playing time increases.
The Brazilian forward has managed to play the entire 90 minutes in just one Premier League match up to now and has recently experienced a slowdown in his development because of an injury.
However, there is a justification for Chelsea’s decision to pay as much as £51m for him when he was just 17 years old.
Estevao was a key member of an exceptionally talented group at Palmeiras and seems set for significant success in the Premier League with sufficient opportunity.
