A traveler recorded the instant she rushed to protect an older woman who was informed by Transport forLondonemployee who told her that she wasn’t “using her mind” while adhering to directions.

The intense situation, which occurred at Stratford Bus Station during the weekend, was captured on camera byTikTokmale and female barber @boujeeblendss, who intervened after observing the conflict.

She wrote on Instagram: ‘I was at a bus stop and saw a man being very rude to an elderly woman who was asking for directions.’

In the conversation, he called her a fool and instructed her to think clearly, being openly disrespectful!

In the video, the male employee is seen firmly using his hands to guide the older woman – who seemed to be standing quietly – towards her train platform.

He can be heard saying: “You’re not thinking. Go forward, it’s on your right.”

Immediately, the barber went to the worker and asked, “She isn’t thinking? You’re speaking to her in a condescending manner—and she isn’t thinking, is she? She’s an idiot?”

The employee, who seemed at a loss for words during the unexpected meeting, stayed quiet while the barber added, “Did the cat take your tongue? Where’s the enthusiasm? Or are you going to speak in a way that’s more tolerable?”

She is an older woman, you should demonstrate some respect.

The barber then told the employee that she planned to send the video to his superiors to make sure he ‘learned how to interact with others’.

In the end, the employee apologized to the older woman, saying, “If I caused you offense, I am sorry.”

As the barber kept recording up close, the employee provided the elderly woman with clear instructions to her platform within the subway station.

As the older woman moved off, she was heard expressing gratitude to the barber, who replied, “You’re welcome.”

Tagging Transport for London and Stagecoach Bus in a related caption, the barber stated: ‘Your employees are referring to a vulnerable elderly woman as a fool and instructing her to use her brain!’

Watch his body-worn camera to see the entire encounter! Revolting. The micro aggression that is not MICRO.

The video has now received 30,000 views and a flood of encouragement from audiences, who also praised the woman for taking action.

One individual stated: “Many thanks for standing up for her. That’s someone’s mother or grandmother.”

Another remarked: “Happy you stood up for her. She is evidently an elder and requires some patience and compassion.”

A third person stated: ‘Even if this was his tenth conversation with her, he had no entitlement to speak to her in that manner.’

When approached by the Mail, TfL stated that this employee was contracted through a third party and mentioned: ‘We anticipate that all individuals will treat each other with respect on our network, and we are swiftly looking into this matter.’
