The two sons of the renowned Ghanaian pastor, Captain Frank Paa Kwesi Donkor and Elijah Nana Yaw Donkor, lost their lives when the fixed-wing microlight aircraft they were aboard, registered as 9G-ADV, crashed in Oninku Park within the Tema Community 1 area.

In a statement, the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) mentioned that the plane was en route from Ho to Accra and had last communicated via radio an hour prior to the crash.

He stated that God provided comfort to him and his wife following the tragedy. He mentioned that because the crash was according to God’s plan, they have chosen to accept it, as they are not the first Christians to experience such a loss.

“I believe this is what God intends. The positive and unexpected part is that God provided comfort to my wife. She shared something with me when I received the sad news from abroad. She mentioned that the tragedy we have experienced has already occurred to many people before us,” he said.
