Former NFL player Asante Samuel launched a fierce attack on the fans ofDonald Trump over the weekend. 

Samuel, who secured two Super Bowl victories with theNew England Patriots, has openly criticized supporters of the MAGA movement since the 2024 presidential election.election. 

And the 45-year-old returned to social media on Sunday to harshly ridicule the Americans who supported the President.

The former cornerback stated that supporters of Trump would accept any statement made by the President.

“If Trump told you there was an NFL game tomorrow, you would believe it,” Samuel wrote on X, adding three laughing emojis.

On Sunday earlier, he commented on a video depicting long lines at Atlanta airport for security, subtly suggesting that supporters of the “Make America Great Again” movement were to blame.

“Y’all voted for this mess,” he wrote, quoting the post on Twitter.

This wasn’t the first instance where the four-time Pro Bowler has targeted Trump supporters. Earlier in 2024, he openly criticized fellow former NFL player Le’Veon Bell.

As the 2024 election approached, Bell stated on X that should Kamala Harris win against Trump in the vote, he would depart from the United States.

Samuel responded promptly, writing: “Do us all a favor and please leave now. And I will ask you every day if you have left yet.”

He humorously proposed creating a GoFundMe campaign to collect funds for Bell’s international travel.

He kept expressing his disapproval of the President, stating: ‘That’s unfortunate, Trump has you all targeting people. Make America Trumpless Again.’

Bell was among the most vocal figures in the NFL community who supported Trump during the previous election.

He attended a Trump rally in Pennsylvania alongside former NFL star Antonio Brown, and later watched the Steelers’ victory against the Dallas Cowboys with him.

“Essentially, what I’m trying to convey is that Trump is a genuine one, man,” Bell later stated in a video summarizing his experience with the former president.

He’s a genuine person. He didn’t inform me that he was going to let me speak or remain silent, he didn’t tell me he was going to call me. He just did that, man – out of love.

I understand, he might want to win the election or something, but I’m trying to explain to you all, he didn’t need to do that. I could have ruined everything… That’s why you all don’t realize is that Trump is genuine.
