Widespread ‘No Kings’ demonstrations againstDonald Trumphave fallen into disorder as police are compelled to use tear gas on aggressive protesters throwing stones and conflicts spreading throughout the nation.

On Saturday, for the third time, millions assembled from one coast to the other for unified protests targeting the president, fueled by frustration over his immigration policies, increasing expenses, and the continuing conflict inIran.

Organizers anticipate the rally will be the “biggest political demonstration” in U.S. history.

On the West Coast, demonstrators are said to have thrown concrete blocks at Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officers, while some individuals forcefully struck the fence surrounding the Metropolitan Detention Center inLos Angeles.

In footage shared on X, DHS officers reacted to the large gathering by using tear gas, causing individuals to rush to shield their faces as smoke spread across the area.

Meanwhile, at the Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes,California, a heated argument occurred between a ‘No Kings’ protester and a man wearing a shirt that said, ‘DEPORT WHITE LIBERAL WOMEN,’ according toKTLA News

The two individuals, just a few inches apart, yelled at each other as those nearby attempted to shove the opposing protester back, shouting, “Racist, go home!”

Approximately twenty seconds later, the opposing protester moved off, shouting through a megaphone: “This person is advocating for illegal”aliens, while the other individual was taken away.

The demonstrations are supported by approximately 500 communist and socialist organizations, generating an estimated $3 billion annually, as reported.Fox News Digital.

Over 3,300 demonstrations took place throughout all 50 states, with organizers anticipating the attendance to set new benchmarks as the “biggest peaceful day of protest” in American history.

“Trump aims to govern us as a dictator. However, this is America, and authority rests with the citizens — not with aspiring monarchs or their wealthy associates,” organizers stated.BBC

In June 2025, over five million individuals participated in No Kings protests. Shortly after, by October, the number increased to seven million.

Currently, obtaining an accurate count of participants in this weekend’s demonstrations in real-time is extremely challenging.

A representative from the White House referred to the demonstrations as ‘Trump Derangement Therapy Sessions,’ stating that only ‘reporters who are paid’ show concern, as reported by the source.

However, images of large gatherings have emerged in major cities throughout Minnesota, California, Illinois, Washington DC, New York, and Florida, with over 40 demonstrations scheduled in the small state of Vermont by itself.

Demonstrators filled the streets, neighborhoods, and rural areas, with groups celebrating and holding placards addressing topics such as ‘ICE Must Dissolve’ and ‘We Can’t Handle the War or the Fuel Costs.’

From New York City, a vibrant city home to almost 8.5 million people in a blue state, to the tiny town of Driggs in eastern Idaho, which has less than 2,000 inhabitants, citizens came together nationwide – including in states where Trump won strongly in 2024.

“We need to stand up,” Mitch Campbell, 72, saidThe New York TimesDuring a demonstration in Oxford, Mississippi, he carried a sign that stated: “No Kings Except Elvis.”

It has gotten to a stage where – how can people overlook this?” he added. “They’re simply disregarding the Constitution. Whether it’s about gas, tariffs, the cost of living, or anything else, I mean, we’re not paying any attention.

Approximately 200,000 individuals gathered at the Minnesota State Capitol, where Governor Tim Walz introduced Bruce Springsteen along with a lineup of prominent speakers and entertainers, including Bernie Sanders, Joan Baez, Maggie Rogers, and Jane Fonda.

On the West Coast, demonstrations occurred in downtown Los Angeles, with more than 40 protests scheduled across several counties,attracting hundreds of thousands in Beverly Hills, Burbank, West Covina, West Hollywood, and Thousand Oaks

Among thousands of signs and American flags, a large blimp depicting Trump as a baby in a diaperbobbed above the crowds. 

“I’m deeply troubled by the dehumanization of people and the erosion of our democracy under this Trump regime,” Rossana Foote, 62, said to theLos Angeles Times, characterizing the Trump administration as ‘inhumane.’

“We must unite to present a powerful voice, a robust movement indicating that there are no kings, and no one is above the law,” she added.

In New York City, demonstrators walked south from Midtown holding signs opposing ICE, Trump, and Iran next to the bright advertisements in Manhattan.

Donna Lieberman, the head of the New York Civil Liberties Union, referred to Trump as the country’s ‘Bully in Chief,’ as reported inNBC 4 New York News.

“They wish for us all to live in fear of demonstrating. They want us to be terrified that there’s nothing we can do to prevent them. But do you know what? They are completely mistaken,” she stated.

In Glens Falls, 57-year-old Marsha Luzier was part of the gathering, one of numerous demonstrators who highlighted the conflict in Iran—where a Friday Iranian attack on a base in Saudi Arabia left at least a dozen American soldiers injured.

Her partner, Jake Shumaker, aged 49, has a sibling who served as a combat veteran and was severely injured following three deployments to Iraq.

Our armed forces are being sent out for oil,” he said to The Washington Post. “Or to hide the Epstein documents – let’s face it.

In the country’s capital, where Trump has transformed the federal workforce and leveraged his executive authority to change the city’s monuments, demonstratorscarried signs that said, “Fight for democracy.” 

“Previously, I was worried about losing my job,” said federal employee Kim, 56, to The Washington Post.

“But following the initiation of numerous wars and foreign invasions—and the persecution of Americans and those who would become Americans—there was a moment of fear within me,” she added.

Protests have erupted in Boston, Nashville, and Houston, with smaller towns such as Shelbyville, Kentucky, and Howell, Michigan, also joining in.

Crowds have also gathered abroad. In Paris, London, and Lisbon, demonstrators held signs that described Trump as a ‘fascist’ and a ‘war criminal,’ while demanding his impeachment and departure from power, as reported by BBC.

Demonstrators have also gathered in Rome, Madrid, Amsterdam, Sydney, and Tokyo, along with other major cities.

Trump’s popularity has reached record lows, with even segments of his MAGA supporters showing signs of discontent.expressing frustration. 

Numerous people oppose a conflict with Iran, which has resulted in the deaths of 13 American military personnel and caused gasoline costs to rise sharply.
