Cement exports rose by 10.03 percent in the first eight months of the current fiscal year 2025-26 compared to the same period in the previous year.
Cement exports from the country amounted to $228.935 million in the period July-February (2025-26), compared to $208.063 million in the same period of July-February (2024-25), as reported by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
Regarding volume, cement exports experienced a slight decline of 0.59 percent, dropping from 5,861,258 metric tons to 5,826,413 metric tons, according to the data.
On a year-over-year basis, cement exports rose by 11.19 percent in February 2026 when compared to the same month in the previous year.
The value of cement exports from the country in February 2026 reached $22.208 million, compared to $19.972 million in February 2025.
According to the PBS data, cement exports fell by 33.82 percent in February 2026 compared to the $33.558 million worth of exports recorded in January 2026, on a month-over-month basis.
