Gold prices saw a notable rise in the local market on Saturday, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs4,800 to reach Rs472,062, compared to Rs467,262 on the previous trading day, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also went up by Rs4,116 to Rs404,717 from Rs400,601, while the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold climbed by Rs3,774 to Rs371,004 from Rs367,230. In the global market, gold prices rose by $48 to $4,493 from $4,445, according to the association.
In the meantime, the price of silver did not change in the local market, with the rate for one tola of silver remaining steady at Rs7,454, while the cost for 10 grams of silver was Rs6,390.
In the global market, silver rates stayed the same at $69.70, as reported by the association.
