A penalty of as much as Rs. 100,000 has been established for breaches of fishing regulations.
A penalty of Rs. 50,000 will be charged for running a processing plant or factory without proper authorization.
Measures will be implemented against individuals engaged in the unlawful purchase, sale, and trafficking of fish.
Fines have also been established for environmental contamination and for releasing industrial waste into water sources.
