Thick black smoke billowed above an industrial facility close to Neot Hovav in southern Israel on Sunday, following debris from a downed Iranian missile hitting the area.
A pesticide tank ignited, producing dense clouds of smoke into the atmosphere. Authorities reported no casualties and no additional dangers, although surrounding regions were evacuated while firefighters attempted to control the fire.
The following day, a fire occurred at an oil refinery in Haifa, marking the second such event this month.
Videos captured flames and thick smoke emerging from a storage tank before firefighters managed to contain the situation. The reason behind the incident remained unverified.
The events occur amid Israel and Iran exchanging attacks, with regional air defense systems deployed throughout the Gulf.
