A major cast change forEmmyAward-winning series The Pittamid chaos focused on a starNoah Wyle and the unattractive rumors about bullying.

Supriya Ganesh, who has played the role of senior resident Dr. Samira Mohan since the start of the show, is set to leave the widely-watched seriesHBOseries at the end of season 2.

The Daily Mail has contacted Ganesh’s representatives for a statement and is still waiting for a response.

Furthermore, Ayesha Harris, who portrays senior night shift resident Dr. Parker Ellis, is set to be upgraded to a main cast member starting from season 2, as reported.Variety on Thursday.

A source for the release “with knowledge of the situation” states that Ganesh’s, 28, departure is related to the plot.

Since The Pitt is set at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, a teaching hospital, it’s common for residents to come and go.

Season 2 also includes Dr. Mohan considering her choices for the next stage of her professional life once her residency concludes.

She is a third-year, and later fourth-year, medical intern striving to maintain equilibrium between thoroughness and efficiency.

Ganesh has been a constant presence in the series, having appeared in all 28 episodes of The Pitt to date.

In the meantime, Harris will have a more prominent part in the show, as she appeared in four of the 15 episodes in both season 1 and season 2.

It raises an intriguing issue for the program as last monthThe Daily Mail released a piece about the hidden conflictsof leading actor Wyle, 54.

It is claimed that Wyle has been facing challenges behind the scenes, with statements from one of his fellow actors bringing to light past bullying accusations from his time on ER, and a legal case asserting that The Pitt is a ‘copycat’ of the series that brought him fame.

Nevertheless, The Pitt has proven to be a remarkable success for HBO, earning widespread critical acclaim and multiple awards.

The series has won five Primetime Emmy Awards, including an Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series award for Wyle and the top prize for Outstanding Drama Series.

The main character in Wyle is Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, a senior doctor still dealing with the psychological impact of his experiences during the COVID-19 crisis.

He appeared in the renowned medical series ER for more than 254 episodes between 1994 and 2009.

Each episodeof The Pitt covers one hour of a 15-hour work periodat the imaginary Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.

The series is set in Pittsburgh, with the title referencing both the city and a nickname for the hospital’s emergency room.

Additional cast members are Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, and Shabana Azeez.

The series “The Pitt” is broadcast on Thursdays via HBO and is available for streaming on HBO Max, with the second season’s final episode scheduled for April 16.
