President Donald Trumpthinks that the Director of National IntelligenceTulsi Gabbardshould stay in the job she selected, sourcestell the Daily Mail.
Since the war in Iranbegan last month, Gabbard’s opponents have cast doubt on her commitment to the mission, urging the president to dismiss her and appoint someone else.
One suggestion, put forward by a supporter of Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was dismissed by the president on Thursday, involved moving Bondi to take Gabbard’s place, according to CBS.
However, the president suggested that he wished Gabbard to remain in the position, as the report mentioned.
The White Housepushed back against a report from the Guardian claiming that Trump had become less favorable toward Gabbard following her former deputy Joe Kent, whomade a strong exit and stepped down in objection to the president’s choice to engage in conflict with Iran.
The report was released on the same day Trump removed Bondi from her position as Attorney General and just under a month after heremoved Kristi Noem from the Homeland Security Department.
However, the White House strongly opposed the notion that the president was prepared to remove a third woman from his administration.
“President Trump has full trust in Director Gabbard, and any suggestion to the contrary is entirely false news,” said White House spokesperson Steven Cheung in a statement to the Daily Mail.

Some members of the administration believed that the reports regarding Gabbard’s intentions stemmed from intense conflicts within the Washington intelligence sector.
‘The DCthe establishment, including the CIA, is constantly pursuing her due to her attempts to expose their deceptions to the American public,” an official from the administration said to the Daily Mail.
She is carrying out precisely what the President instructed her to do. You’ll observe that there are never negative articles about the CIA.
The leader has gathered the most skilled and influential team in history, and together they have achieved remarkable successes for the American population.
Gabbard was seen at the White House as late as Wednesday night, when she joined the President’s late-hour national speech about Iran.
When questioned about his trust in the DNI earlier this week, the President replied, “Yeah, sure.”
“She thinks a bit differently from me, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t capable of serving,” he added.
Gabbard, a former Democratic representative who has consistently opposed American involvement in foreign conflicts, reportedly angered Trump last year afterdistributing a foreboding video regarding the perils of nuclear conflict.

Although Trump and Gabbard differ ideologically, White House officials have commended her efforts during the conflict with Iran, noting that she has received ‘consistent and overwhelming backing’ from the President.
Authorities have informed the Daily Mail that the DNI has been a regular figure at the White House since the war started.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio disputed reports suggesting Gabbard was in disfavor, describing her as a ‘respected member of the President’s national security team’ who was performing ‘exceptionally well.’
Vice President JD Vance also backs Gabbard’s initiatives in support of the president.
Individuals who are aware of Tulsi Gabbard’s stance within the administration claim that any effort to associate the director with Joe Kent’s departure was unfounded, as she clearly separated herself from his decision to resign in protest.
Although attempts were made to involve her in a broader demonstration against the Iran conflict, Gabbard supported the president, clearly stating that it was Trump’s responsibility to determine what constituted an immediate threat.
