Gracie Hunt, daughter of billionaire Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, has revealed her engagement to her boyfriend Derek Green.
Hunt, 27, announced the informationon Instagram at Saturday night, along with a set of images from the romantic desert proposal, as friends and family observed.
The scene included a stage covered with white curtains, surrounded by piles of white flowers and a path lit by candles for the couple to walk along.
She also displayed her breathtaking diamond-studded split shank ring, featuring a colored stone, likely an aquamarine, on her finger.
Posting the news on Instagram, Gracie stated, “It was always you,” and shared a Bible passage from Romans 8:28 to mark their engagement.
In the comments, members of the Hunt family swiftly expressed their congratulations, with Gracie’s sister, Ava, stating: ‘I am thrilled’.
Meanwhile, Gracie’s mother, Tavia, wrote: ‘DREAMS DO COME TRUE!! Congratulations you two!! We love you so much!!!’
The engagement was a family event, with Chiefs CEO and owner Clark seen with his relatives as they observed the touching moment from a distance.
The pair made their relationship public in April 2025.
Hunt and Green both studied at Southern Methodist University, with Green eventually participating in football at Long Island University and various teams throughout Europe.
Trent Green, the father of Green, was a former quarterback for the Chiefs, guiding the team for six years, symbolizing a true blending of two NFL families.
In August last year, Hunt shared how she had become ‘inseparable’ from her new boyfriend during the NFL off-season.
In an interview with People, she said: ‘Derek and I have been acquainted all our lives.’
