Their quick-service restaurant empire is expanding.
Burger King has initiated a major recruitment campaign as the results of its recovery strategies start to become evident.
The quick-service restaurant company aims to hire as many as 60,000 additional employees across its 6,500 locations in the United States.
The recruitment effort follows the chain’s significant improvements, such as modifications to the Whopper for the first time in nearly a decade.
Currently, the restaurant’s most famous burger includes a higher quality bun and is now presented in a box rather than the chain’s usual paper packaging.
“The key tasks of enhancing our operations, updating our restaurants, and paying attention to our customers have been completed, and the results are evident,” said Burger King president Tom Curtis.
The business has experienced a rise in sales, with a 7 percent increase in restaurant visits when compared to the previous year. Because of this, additional employees are required to meet the higher demand. These new positions will include roles from beginner-level fry cooks to managers who supervise the whole restaurant.
At the same time, existing staff members are adapting to modifications within the franchise.

The updated Whopper continues to feature freshly sliced onions and tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles – alongside the company’s so-called ‘improved flavor’ mayonnaise.
The The president of Burger King shared a video himself.taking a huge bite of the new and enhanced Whopper – and providing a single-sentence punchline.
Just one thing missing,” Curtis remarked. “A napkin.
To facilitate smoother feedback, President Curtis began handling customer phone calls in 2026.
The objective was to examine and address grievances, the majority of which pertained to adrop in quality and cost-effectivenessthrough the quick service restaurants.
The company also stated that employees would need to wear AI-enabled headsets designed to track how courteous workers are with clients. These headsets include an AI voice named Patty, which can provide feedback to supervisors.
For instance, if Patty identifies that an employee has not used phrases such as ‘welcome,’ ‘please,’ or ‘thank you,’ it can alert their supervisor.
The release received varied responses on social media, with certain Reddit users referring to it as ‘AI slop.’
