A 3.55-ton coastal composite fishing boat, A, overturned around 4:30 a.m. on the 7th, roughly 1.5 km east of Daepo Port in Sokcho City, Gangwon Province.

The Sokcho Coast Guard, after receiving the report, sent out patrol ships and extracted crew member B, who is 65 years old and was aboard the vessel, taking him to a hospital. They are currently carrying out search efforts to find the missing captain, C, who is 71 years old.

The U.S. Coast Guard intends to examine the specific details of the incident after the rescue mission has concluded.
