Tanzanian music star Mbosso, whose real name is Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi, was involved in a water-related accident.

The incident, which unfolded during the video shoot, has gone viral on social media, leaving fans concerned and sending their well-wishes for his safety.

In a video capturing the moment, the Hali Haijakaa Sawa hitmaker can be seen attempting to jump over a 30-centimetre wooden barrier into a lake.

As he sped towards the barrier with intentions of diving into the water, he lost his balance.

His leg struck the barrier, causing him to lose control and fall into the lake.

A sudden gasp of shock was heard from those around him, heightening the tension of the moment.

Fortunately, a group of people quickly responded and rescued Mbosso using a small boat.

The video captured them pulling the artiste into the boat.

Mbosso was still in his full attire and shoes when he fell into the lake. Despite the scare, he reassured his fans when asked if he was okay, stating, “I’m okay.”
