A man experiencing homelessness and dealing with mental health issues fatally injured a 12-year-old student in Taza on Thursday afternoon by hitting him with a glass bottle.
According to local sources, the child was heading to school when the attacker abruptly stepped in front of him and launched an attack, resulting in his immediate death.
When notified, the judicial police swiftly reached the location, initiated an investigation, and arrested the suspect soon after. He was placed in detention at the regional security headquarters under the oversight of the relevant public prosecutor’s office.
