Actor Han Da-geum, 46, is about to become a mother six years after getting married.

Han announced on her Instagram on the 28th, “I am planning to give birth this fall.”

She said, “I got married at 41, and during the sixth year of our marriage this year, I was fortunate enough to have a child. It still seems unbelievable, but it’s genuine. I’ve now become the oldest mother in the entertainment field.”

Han said, “Last year, following the completion of a play, I aimed for the best outcomes, so I carefully got ready by going to a clinic beforehand. Because of my hard work, I was successful in in vitro fertilization on the first try. I think the years of consistent exercise and strict dietary control really made a difference.”

Having successfully navigated the critical phase that required careful attention, she is now engaging in her usual exercise routine and effectively handling her broadcasting schedule. She stated, “I am deeply thankful for this wonderful blessing and gift at this late point in my life.”

Han said, “As the eldest mother, I will train even more diligently, focus more on my well-being, and take every step with great caution as I begin my second chapter. I truly appreciate everyone who has supported me.”

Han, who made her debut in 1999 with the drama *For Love*, has been part of *Full House*, *Nine-Tailed Fox: Tale of the Fox Sister*, *Golden Cross*, and *Durian’s Affair*. In 2018, she renamed herself from Han Eun-jung to her present name and married a businessman who is one year older than her in 2020.
