Republican Congressman Mike Lawlerdisgraced former colleague Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized him for moving from ‘sycophant to psychopath’ following her assertion that he ‘hates’ the PresidentDonald Trump.

The New Yorker cast doubt on his former associate following Greene’s comments in an interview withTucker Carlsonabout his apparent hidden hatred for the President, at one point she referred to him as ‘literally a’Democrat.’

“He despised Donald Trump, constantly mocked him, imitated him — ridiculing his voice,” she said about Lawler, who she was told was a member of theGOPcaucus she had to ‘battle for’ when she arrived in Washington.

Lawler responded to Greene with a detailed social media message.

‘Marjorie Taylor Greene, also known as the Jewish Space Laser Lady, also known asMoscowMarge, otherwise known as one of the least intelligent individuals to ever hold a positionCongress, has no credibility on any topic,’ he wrote.

While Marjorie transformed from a sycophant to a psychopath within five years, I have always remained faithful to myself and my beliefs.

I cast my vote for the President on three occasions, served as a delegate in 2016, and have collaborated with the President to achieve outcomes for my district, such as removing the limit on SALT.

Lawler did not deny that he does not fully align with Trump, viewing this as a sign of genuine individuality.

I express my agreement with the President when I share his views, and I voice my disagreement when I don’t. I will consistently advocate for my district and act in what I believe is best for our nation.

Marjorie may sit and spin, as she becomes remembered as one of the least popular and most uninformed individuals to ever hold office.

Greene alleged that Lawler harassed her because she backed Trump in his unsuccessful 2020 election bid.

“He would often attack me, mock me, and seek me out on the House floor,” she said to Carlson.

However, when Trump regained power four years later, she mentioned that Lawler experienced an “unbelievable transformation,” shifting from his previous actions to “suddenly becoming Trump’s most vocal supporter.”

The actions of Lawler provided insight for Greene, who has turned into a Trump opponent within the last year.

She mentioned she witnessed him boasting about a Trump-signed MAGA hat, which suggested that individuals like her, who had “stood by him when no one else would,” were not receiving the recognition they deserved from Lawler.

He is literally a member of the Democratic Party. He strongly opposes everything that Republican voters value, and it’s evident he despises Donald Trump.

On the other hand, the DCCCdrew attention to Lawler with a popular articlelast autumn asserting that he supported Trump 100 percent of the time.

“Alleged moderate Mike Lawler was chosen to represent the Lower Hudson Valley, yet it appears he has been following Donald Trump’s instructions,” they stated.

In March, The Daily Mail reported that Lawler’s campaign fund spent over $150,000 on limousines, private yacht rentals, luxury hotels, high-end dining spots, and upscale vacation destinations, according to financial records.

The ‘opulent’ expenditures, combined with his positive ties to a lobby organization representing high-end rental car services, have prompted his opponents to label him ‘Limousine Lawler’.

Records from the Federal ElectionThe Federal Election Commission (FEC) reveal that the second-term Republican’s campaign finances were used for a $3,400 meal at a high-profile sushi restaurant, $7,355 for private boat rentals at a resort in upstate New York, and a $1,300 ‘meeting’ at the Venetian inLas Vegas, a $700 stay at aFloridaRitz-Carlton beachfront property, priced at $560 from a Beverly Hills store.

His initiative also allocated tens of thousands for gatherings at theRyder Cupgolf competition and top-tier private clubs.

A prominent limousine advocacy organization recognized Representative Lawler, a 39-year-old legislator from the Hudson Valley, with a unique fundraising event last year, while executives from a high-end car rental company have contributed more than $20,000 to his political campaign.

His political fund, Lawler forCongressLtd., spent $10,959.26 with limousine service providers in 2024 and 2025.

A representative for Lawler justified the spending, stating that he is a leading fundraiser and that all costs were proper.
