Collingwood player Bobby Hill’s girlfriend Georgia Devlin has shared that the couple are now the happy parents of a “perfect little girl” following the birth of their daughter, Hazel Hill.

Devlin shared a set of images featuring the new baby on Instagram on Sunday, including a picture of the newborn with her two brothers, accompanied by the caption ‘My world!!’ along with a heart emoji.

The touching news arrives as Hill keeps working to make his return to the field following his personal break from the Magpies during the off-season.

He and Devlin experienced a well-publicized breakup, which the Daily Mail first revealed in July 2025, following Hill’s absence from Collingwood’s games for several weeks.

The Magpies chose not to respond at the time, but the social media accounts of Hill and Devlin revealed a lot, with the relationship’s collapse coming as a surprise to many.AFL world.

Hill’s usually vibrant InstagramThe feed had become silent, with the forward having deleted almost all pictures of his partner and their two young sons, Bobby Junior and Malakai.

Indications of the separation were intensified by the couple’s decision to stop following each other on the social media site, and the tags they previously used to label each other in pictures had completely vanished.

Not long after the separation, Hill left football behind, taking a five-week break that overlapped with Devlin and the kids going back toWestern Australia.

At that time, Hill posted a heartfelt message expressing his longing for his sons, which was the first public indication of the relationship’s deterioration.

Hill shared a heartfelt photo of himself with his sons, accompanied by the message: ‘Gonna miss you all. Dad loves you.’

He made a short return for the Magpies in Round 21 againstBrisbanelast year, only to be excluded once more the next week due to sickness.

As inquiries increased, Hill did not accompany Collingwood to Adelaide, even though later accounts suggested he had planned to be part of the team.

At the same time, Bradley Hill, Hill’s cousin, is believed to have reached out to Collingwood with worries, an action that reportedly led to a disagreement among relatives.

Worries about his health grew when experienced reporter Caroline Wilson stated that there were occasions when Bobby was unreachable.

“I am aware that his family is deeply concerned about him, and his friends are also very worried,” Wilson stated at that time.

Hill had not yet returned to full training with the Magpies by February of this year, and there were rumors that he could potentially miss the entire 2026 campaign.

Nevertheless, Collingwood’s coach Craig McRae provided supporters with an encouraging message on May 13, following Hill’s participation in a complete VFL game, indicating that he was making progress in his recovery to return to play.

McRae referred to Devlin as Hill’s ‘partner,’ suggesting that the couple has reunited, as he mentioned the approaching arrival of their third child.

“Clearly, not being able to train due to all the family commitments is crucial in getting ready to play,” McRae stated.

We hope for their success [Hill and Devlin] and we’ll observe how things develop in the coming days.

McRae further stated that Hill was not being evaluated for first-grade selection as he ‘had not yet met’ the physical requirements necessary to secure a position in an AFL game.

Hill was not included in the team that defeated West Coast on Saturday during club legend Scott Pendlebury’s milestone 433rd AFL game.
