The Minister for Marine and the Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, who serves as the Osun State Coordinator and Collation Officer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary, has announced President Bola Tinubu as the victor of the process in the state.

After compiling the results from all 30 local government areas and one Area Office in Osun State, Oyetola announced that Tinubu received 100,880 votes, while his opponent, Stanley Osifo, obtained a different number.

He revealed that the APC membership in Osun State stands at 109,806, with 100,880 of them casting their votes for Tinubu in the primary, while Osifo received no votes.

The calm and orderly behavior observed in the thirty Local Government Areas of Osun State, including the Ife East Area Office, reflects the lasting power and cohesion of our party.

Previously, the APC’s Osun State Governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Munirudeen Oyebamiji (AMBO), gave the event a high rating, stating, “the process is credible and transparent. It is a demonstration that our members have shown confidence in what President Bola Tinubu is doing to enhance the country.”

The people believe in his ability to lead Nigeria towards a prosperous future, as I have witnessed today during the primaries across the wards in Osun State. I am confident that our President will win the 2027 general elections.
