Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has stated that the re-election of President Bola Tinubu would bring more benefits of democracy to Nigerians, promising Kano’s complete backing for the president’s 2027 campaign.

Addressing attendees during theAll Progressives Congress(APC) presidential primary in Diso Ward, Gwale Local Government Area, Yusuf stated that Kano and Nigeria would benefit from a more robust economy, enhanced peace and security, employment opportunities, and expanded infrastructure in education, healthcare, agriculture, and human development by backing President Tinubu.

Kano State is set to experience a thriving economy, along with peace and safety.

I pledge, with the blessings of Allah, that Kano State will vote for President Bola Ahmad Tinubu for a second term in January 2027.

“I do not anticipate a single vote being absent from all my delegates who are here,” he stated.

Overseeing the ward primary, Ibrahim Muhammad-Abdullahi, chairman of the Presidential Primary Committee for Diso Ward, stated that the process was carried out via direct primaries.

He stated that Tinubu received 5,277 votes in the Diso Ward, whereas his opponent, Stanley Osifo, did not receive any votes.
