The 21-year-old gunman who opened fireA Secret Service agent outside the White House on Saturday was identified as Nassir Best, according to MS NOW.
The individual pulled out a revolver and began shooting at a security checkpoint. He also stated that he was Jesus Christ and had previously experienced mental health problems, as reported by MS NOW. He was familiar to the Secret Service, since he had been arrested before, according to the additional information from MS NOW.

Best passed away at a local hospital following being shot by the Secret Service, with another bystander also injured, according to astatement by the Secret Service.
