As reported by The Daily Beast, even Colbert’s YouTube channel is almost surpassing Allen’s program. Colbert’sappearanceOn the public access TV program “Only in Monroe,” there were 928,000 views on Colbert’s YouTube channel, not accounting for those who watched through other channels and platforms.

CBS previously stated this year that Colbert’s program would conclude this month, citing economic factors. Nevertheless, Colbert and several political commentators have indicated that Trump’s critiques of Colbert were the actual reason.

Bill Carter, a veteran late-night news correspondent, stated on MS NOW that Trump was “directly involved” in Colbert’s dismissal, according to Fox News.reported.
