The Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited, Mr. Gabriel Ogbechie, has highlighted the significance of mentorship, innovation, perseverance, and strategic leadership in creating lasting businesses and fostering economic development in Nigeria. Ogbechie pointed out that numerous thriving businesses succeed not just due to having access to funding, but also because of mentorship, tactical advice, and ongoing education.

The CEO of Sahara Group, Mr. Tope Shonubi, called on business owners to adopt honesty, perseverance, determination, and creativity when establishing long-lasting enterprises.

Other speakers at the symposium included the wife of the celebrant and Group Executive Director of Rainoil Limited, Mrs Godrey Ogbechie, who referred to the initiative as a representation of her husband’s enduring commitment to guiding and supporting young business owners.

As part of the event’s initiatives, ten chosen entrepreneurs were given N5 million each in financial assistance to enhance and grow their enterprises, thereby strengthening the symposium’s goal of supporting new business leaders and encouraging entrepreneurial excellence in Nigeria.
