Al Hilal SC and Al Merrikh SC will remain part of Rwanda’s BK Pro League for the 2026/27 season, as the competition’s updated schedule has confirmed the continuation of an 18-team structure. The Rwanda Football Federation (Ferwafa) revealed that the next season will feature 34 matchdays, ensuring the presence of the two Sudanese teams in Rwanda’s premier league for another year. Al Hilal and Al Merrikh joined the Rwandan league last season due to disruptions in Sudanese football caused by the ongoing conflict, which led many clubs to look for temporary alternatives overseas. Al Hilal topped the standings with 70 points, APR FC came in second with 59 points, and Al Merrikh took third place with 58 points.
