The Dubai authorities have refuted claims of explosions in the city on Thursday night, following initial reports that loud noises were caused by missile interceptions, as stated by journalists in Dubai.
The Dubai Media Office has released a statement explaining that the blasts did not take place in the heart of Dubai, and is advising citizens to trust information provided by official sources.
Although Iran targeted the United Arab Emirates after the conflict began in February, Tehran has stopped its attacks following the US-Iran ceasefire and the agreement to conclude the war through a framework deal in mid-June.
Following the resumption of conflicts between the two parties last week, Iran has struck several neighboring nations, such as Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.
Kuwait’s armed forces stated that they neutralized “drone attacks resulting from the harmful Iranian actions,” while Bahrain’s interior ministry advised citizens and residents to “stay calm and go to the closest secure location.”
This is an ongoing situation, and our reporters are preparing additional reports.
