The NBAhas ceased its inquiry into the altercation between formerMiami Heatteammates Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro inLas Vegas.

Adebayo confronted Herro in Las Vegas after the two had a intense direct exchange following Herro’s trade to the team.Milwaukee Bucksin the action that sawGiannis Antetokounmpo move to Miami.

Several accounts have indicated that Adebayo confronted Herro regarding alleged critical remarks he is said to have posted on social media about Adebayo after leaving the team following seven years of collaboration.

Hello this week had stated that he wished to move forward from the incident, and after the NBA contacted both sides, they decided to abandon their investigation into the matter.

“Following discussions with the players and the NBPA, all parties would rather put this difficult situation behind them, and the league will not pursue any additional actions,” a representative stated.

Herro was sent to the Bucks earlier this month as part of the trade that brought Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Heat, where he will join Adebayo, the team’s captain.

Speaking earlier this week, Herro told ESPN, “To be honest, I’m just trying to move on from everything.”

I’m concentrating on Milwaukee and creating something remarkable. They’ve clearly traded their all-time best player, so we aim to come in and support the ongoing efforts they’ve been making.

Hello, it seems that Herro was restrained from taking revenge on Adebayo during the chaotic incident, which is thought to have occurred in a gym.

Herro seemingly doubted if Adebayo was worthy of the three-year, $166 million contract he signed with the Heat in 2024.

The Heat and the Bucks competed in NBA Summer League games later on Friday afternoon, with all players involved in the major trade – except Antetokounmpo – present.

The Heat mentioned that they were informed about the incident and chose not to provide additional remarks.

Herro briefly addressed The Miami Herald and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel following a summer match between the Bucks and Heat, stating, “my only comment is no comment.”

No one from the Bucks or the Heat has commented on Thursday’s events.
