Thailand became the top Asian location sought by European tourists during the summer, as the nation faced reduced demand from its usual nearby markets, according to a report from the online travel company Agoda.
Indonesia came in second place, with Japan, Vietnam, and Malaysia following, according to Agoda’s lodging search statistics from April 1 to June 30, 2026, for bookings between July 1 and August 31.
The amount of European travelers coming to Thailand has been increasing even amid worldwide instability caused by the Middle East conflict.
