Lotte Department Store, in collaboration with Seoul’s Songpa District, will host the ‘Style Run,’ a representative running event in the retail industry, in October this year. Now in its 8th iteration, the event has been praised for transforming the Jamsil area into a sports festival venue.

The ‘2026 Style Run,’ scheduled for October 18, is a running competition held in the Jamsil area. With cumulative participation reaching 40,000 people as of last year, the event has become a popular competition. Lotte Department Store has set this year’s participation scale at 7,000 people, a 15% increase from last year’s 6,000 people. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. on September 1 through the Lotte Department Store Mall.

Lotte Department Store has partnered with Zara’s sportswear collection ‘Zara Athletics’ to provide participants with a ‘Style Run Special Kit’ this year. The kit includes five fashion items co-developed with Zara Athletics: a T-shirt, running cap, socks, bag, and bandana. Additionally, knee protectors, flask water bottles, and massage balls will also be provided.

The race course starts at Lotte World Tower World Park, passes through Songpa-daero and Seokchon Lake, and returns to the Lotte World Tower skyline. With two course options—5 km and 10 km—participants can choose according to their skill level and goals, from beginners starting their running journey to runners preparing for a marathon.

This year, in addition to the running event, a hybrid sports challenge competition called ‘Day Out’ will be held in collaboration with the global fitness brand F45 at the Lotte World Tower World Park lawn from October 15 to 17. A source from Lotte Department Store stated, “We have structured the competition course with extreme training missions that have recently gained popularity among sports enthusiasts, allowing participants to challenge their limits by demonstrating agility and endurance.” Registration for ‘Day Out’ will begin at 10 a.m. on September 22 through the Lotte Department Store Mall.
