Pakistan, Sept. 1 — Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon, while reacting to the statement of MQM leader Mustafa Kamal, has said that Mustafa Kamal also wants to become the “Londoners” successor by inciting hatred. He said that the MQM’s politics of hatred and division-based ideology has now been rejected by the people. Those who attempted to create urban-rural differences have been politically buried by the people in the past and will face the same fate again.

In a statement, he said that reality cannot be changed through a few negative examples and false claims. The Pakistan Peoples Party has always worked to remove the walls of hatred, while its opponents have consistently attempted to promote politics based on division.

Sharjeel Inam Memon said that Karachi is the heart of Sindh and the jugular vein of Pakistan’s economy. Those who defamed Karachi before the world through violence and terrorism are now in the hunt of the federation.

He said that MQM’s politics has always revolved around division, hatred and linguistic discrimination. The people have fully understood their false narratives and political tactics. Giving a linguistic colour to administrative decisions is merely an attempt to keep failed politics alive.

Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the people rejected those who continuously propagated negative campaigns against the Pakistan Peoples Party for eighteen years. On the contrary, the people have made the Pakistan Peoples Party victorious in every election.

He said that Karachi is and will remain the heart of Sindh. No one can divide the people for temporary political interests. The Pakistan Peoples Party has provided equal development opportunities to all citizens of Sindh without discrimination. It is mocking to blame the party that has always worked to strengthen the federation for the division of Karachi.

Sharjeel Inam Memon said that serving the people of the entire province, including Karachi, is the mission of the Pakistan Peoples Party. The party has always defeated the politics of hatred and promoted peace, development and brotherhood. The Pakistan Peoples Party has never divided Karachi; rather, it has worked towards keeping the country united, improving governance and ensuring development.

He said that the people know who destroyed the future of their youth by handing them weapons. Mustafa Kamal should explain who is associated with linguistic division, bodies in sacks, extortion and target killings? Sindh has been home to people speaking different languages for centuries. Politicians like Mustafa Kamal are attempting to create hatred among the people for their own political interests.
