The “2026 Osong Cosmetic Beauty Expo” will be held at Cheongju OSCO from the 22nd for three days.
Hosted by Chungcheongbuk-do and Cheongju City, and organized by the Osong Bio Promotion Foundation, the event will feature 254 domestic and international cosmetic and beauty companies—the largest scale in its history.
This year’s event focuses on export consultations and business-to-business transactions. In collaboration with Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), 200 domestic and international buyers have been invited, including Japan’s Ito Yokado and Marui Group. Over 1,200 one-on-one consultations between companies and buyers are expected during the event.
The number of overseas participating companies has also increased, rising from six last year to 26 this year.
A new startup support program has been introduced, selecting 10 promising early-stage companies to assist with investment attraction and market expansion.
Seminars addressing the cosmetics industry’s overseas expansion and technological trends will also take place. On the first day, the European Market Entry Strategy Seminar by the French Chamber of Commerce in Korea and the K-Clean Beauty Seminar will be held. On the second day, the International Bio Cosmetic Conference and a seminar on next-generation cosmetic technology will occur.
Programs for general visitors include AI skin diagnosis, perfume-making, caricature drawing, and photo sessions.
Admission is free, and free shuttle buses will operate between Osong Station and the venue.
Jang Woo-sung, head of Chungcheongbuk-do’s Bio Food and Pharmaceutical Bureau, stated, “This event will broaden overseas expansion opportunities for companies and provide diverse beauty experiences for visitors.”
