
Kim Hye-seong, 27, playing for the LA Dodgers, achieved his second game with multiple hits this season, enhancing his hitting performance.
Kim Hye-seong took the field as the eighth batter and shortstop in the away match against the Colorado Rockies in Major League Baseball (MLB) at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado, on the 20th (Korean time), achieving a 2-for-4 record with one run scored. His performance featured one double, which was his second of the season and his second game with multiple hits. Thanks to this multi-hit game, his seasonal batting average increased from 0.273 to 0.308 (8 hits in 26 at-bats).
At the start of the third inning, with one out, Kim Hye-seong began the scoring by hitting a double into the right-center field gap. He later became the game’s first run scorer after Alex Verdugo delivered a well-timed hit.

In the away match against the Washington Nationals, 28-year-old Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants failed to get a hit in his three plate appearances.
Starting as the sixth batter and right fielder, Lee Jung-hoo hit a groundout to third in the top of the second inning, another groundout to second in the top of the fourth, and struck out in the top of the sixth with a runner on second and no one out. He was substituted by pinch hitter Gerardo Perdomo in the top of the eighth inning with two outs and a runner on third.
Lee Jung-hoo’s seasonal batting average decreased from 0.253 to 0.244 (19 hits in 78 at-bats) as his five-game hit streak came to an end. The Giants also suffered a 0-3 defeat, ending their three-game winning run.
