A man was taken into custody on charges of attempted murder following a vehicle collision with pedestrians, resulting in five individuals being hurt.
A man was taken to the hospital with critical injuries after the event that occurred early Saturday morning, while four other men sustained less severe injuries.
Officers were summoned following an incident where a red Vauxhall Astra struck several individuals in Market Place, Arnold, Nottinghamshire, approximately at 1:12am.
A 40-year-old individual was taken into custody by authorities on Saturday night, suspected of attempted murder, according to police.
Anti-terrorism officers are not part of the ongoing inquiry.
Detective Chief Inspector Ruby Burrow, heading the inquiry, stated: ‘We have provided this significant update to the family of the severely injured man, and they are receiving assistance from specialized officers.’
