The primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Alimosho Federal Constituency has been completed, with the release of results from all 11 wards in the constituency, including: Ward C1 (Pako), Ward C2 (Egbeda), Ward D (Isheri/Idimu), Ward E1 (Ikotun), Ward E2 (Egbe), Ward F (Egan), Ward G North (Abesan), Ward G South (Ipaja), Ward H (Ayobo), Ward M1 (Oke-Odo), and Ward M2 (Abule-Egba).

The collation activity, conducted at the Alimosho Local Government Secretariat, saw a large number of party supporters and interested parties take part in the voting process across the 11 wards, with 40,637 registered voters and 40,558 votes cast in a well-organized fashion.

At the conclusion of the vote counting, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba (Mayor K.K) won with 37,021 votes, achieving a significant lead over other candidates in the election. His main competitor, Hon. Princess Olabisi Adebajo (ABISCO), received 2,793 votes, while the other two contenders, Olabode Adebisi and Babatunde Fatuade, obtained 299 and 445 votes respectively, out of a total of 40,558 votes cast.

The outcome was formally announced by the APC Returning Officer, Barr. Sunny Adeeko, who declared Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba (Mayor K.K) as the officially elected APC candidate for the House of Representatives in the upcoming 2027 general election.
