The Imo State branch of the All Progressives Congress has urged candidates who have issues from the recently held House of Representatives primary elections to submit their complaints on Monday, May 18, 2026.
The chairman and secretary of the APC National Assembly Primary Appeal Committee in Imo State, Tuoyo Omatstuli and Hon. Godwin Anaughe, announced this on Sunday through a statement released on the same day.
They requested individuals who have complaints to present their requests to the committee at the APC State Secretariat between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. in Owerri.
The committee also warned candidates to file their petitions and grievances within the specified time limit.
The notice states: “It is hereby announced that following the recently completed House of Representatives primary elections of the All Progressives Congress, the National Assembly Primary Appeal Committee for Imo State has been established and authorized to accept petitions and complaints related to the House of Representatives primary elections that took place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Imo State.”
The committee formally encourages candidates participating in the upcoming primary elections to file petitions or complaints between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the APC State Secretariat, located at 47 Okigwe Road, Owerri, Imo State.
Through this notice, candidates wishing to challenge the results of the primary elections are required to submit their petitions or complaints and to present themselves before the committee within the designated timeframe.
