Nakuru – A 60-year-old woman was found murdered in her home in Ening’ang’a village, Nakuru county.

The deceased, named Mary Mwihaki, who had been missing for four days, was discovered lying motionless on her bed on Sunday, May 17.
As reported by neighbors, the children of the late individual, who reside outside their home, grew concerned following multiple unanswered calls to their mother.
The police chief in Bahati North, Charity Karimi, stated that the victim was stabbed twice in the chest and once on the forehead with a knife.
Law enforcement is searching for the youngest son of the late individual, who is believed to have vanished following the event.
As per the neighbors, Mwihaki, who previously resided with her youngest son, was last spotted on Tuesday, May 12, heading to a church gathering.
“She was a virtuous woman, a churchgoer. I saw her for the last time on Tuesday. She used to reside with her son named Kamau. She disappeared for roughly four days. His children contacted us and asked us to search for him. We were with the neighbor and we searched for him. When we arrived, we found that he wasn’t there,” a neighbor stated.
A different neighbor urged the government to make sure those at fault are taken into custody and brought before a court.
“A woman has been stabbed. She was injured by a knife. I hope our government can take action regarding this so that the woman may receive justice,” the neighbor stated.
