Groups BTS, BLACKPINK, CORTIS, and KATSEYE have been nominated for the Best Group Award at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards (hereinafter MTV VMA), a major U.S. music ceremony.

The MTV VMA announced nominees for the “Best Group,” “Best Album,” “Best Longform Video,” and “Song of Summer” categories on the 18th, local time. KATSEYE’s “HOOTIE FRUTTI” and BLACKPINK member Jennie’s collaboration with The Weeknd, “DRACULA,” were also nominated for the “Song of Summer” category.

BTS has additionally been nominated for “Song of the Year” and “Best K-Pop.” The group previously won the Best Group Award four consecutive years (2019–2022) at this ceremony. BLACKPINK received the Best Group Award in 2023 and 2025.

The awards ceremony will be held on the 27th at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California.
