So, as everyone else, I was really eager to see theWolverine revealthis week turned out exactly as I had hoped. however, it has taken a long time to reach this point, especially since it won’t be released until next year at this time.

Everyone is aware that video games now require a significant amount of time to develop, but this issue tends to get worse with each new generation, and with talk of aPlayStation 6In the coming years, the issue is likely to become more painful as time passes. Particularly when it appears that no one is taking action regarding it.

I have come across regular fans proposing to reduce expenses or shorten game lengths, but I have never witnessed publishers even consider the idea, let alone take steps to implement it. They clearly won’t, so I offer one alternative approach: shared universes.

I’m aware that many people are tired of shared universes in films these days, but this hasn’t really occurred in games (likely because game development is too time-consuming). One would expect that a logical approach would be to set all Marvel games within the same gaming universe, but I don’t believe any of them are linked.

That’s partially due to the fact that many of them are published by various companies, but even those that are identical, such asAvengers and Guardians Of The GalaxyDon’t have any relation. However, what I’m proposing is not so much related to the story but rather the technology and the environment, which, for a game, appears to be more significant to discuss.

One of the challenges with games, as I see it, is that each new title requires building the world, models, and all other elements from scratch. Even in sequels, some assets might be reused, but updating them still involves significant effort, and fans—those who are particularly critical—often accuse developers of not putting in enough work.
