A controversial study suggests that COVID-19 vaccines could potentially increase the risk of specific types of cancer.

South Korean scientists claimed they discovered evidence that the vaccines increased the risk of six kinds ofcancerincluding lungs, breasts, and prostate.

The highest risk was identified among those aged 65 and above, they stated in a journal published by a well-known scientific publisher.

But they did not clarify precisely the reason why the injections might have raised this risk.

Experts today rejected the study, calling it “superficially alarming,” and cautioned that its findings were greatly exaggerated.

The connection between Covid vaccines and cancer was previously rejected by scholars and cancer specialists following assertions that it had caused ‘accelerated cancers’.

Researchers have repeatedly cautioned that there is no valid proof these vaccines interfere with tumor suppressors or promote any mechanism that leads to cancer.

It also emerged that Reform UK distanced itself from Aseem Malhotra, an advisor to US health secretary Robert Kennedy Jr, who claimed at its conference that Covid vaccines were connected to the King and the Princess of Wales’ cancers.

The new research was released in the journalBiomarker Research, published by Springer Nature, which is responsible for some of the most respected scientific journals globally.

It was written by South Korean medical professionals specializing in orthopedic surgery and intensive care, who examined the medical records of over 8.4 million adults from 2021 to 2023.

Subjects were divided into two groups depending on whether they had received a Covid vaccine, including a booster dose.

The incidence of cancer cases was subsequently analyzed in relation to whether individuals had received the vaccine, in order to assess the likelihood of specific cancers occurring within a year of vaccination.

They proposed that after one year, individuals who received at least one Covid vaccine had a 35 percent higher chance of being diagnosed with thyroid cancer and a 34 percent increased risk of gastric cancer.

This risk increased to 53 and 68 percent for lung and prostate cancers respectively.

In the meantime, breast and colorectal cancers saw a 20 percent and 28 percent rise in risk, according to medical professionals.

Journal entries mentioned that ‘cDNA vaccines were linked to a higher likelihood of thyroid, stomach, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancers’.

No cDNA-derived COVID vaccines are currently available for public use.

mRNA vaccines, including those developed by Pfizer and Moderna, were “associated with a higher likelihood of thyroid, colorectal, lung, and breast cancers,” the researchers noted.

Males who received vaccinations showed a higher risk of developing stomach and lung cancers, while females who were vaccinated had an increased likelihood of thyroid and colon cancers.

However, they did not clarify the specific reason why the vaccines might increase this risk.

While it is now generally accepted that certain Covid vaccines have caused notable side effects, such as some severe heart-related issues, the assertion that they are connected to cancer continues to be debated.

Cancer Research UK states that there is “no strong evidence” connecting the vaccines to cancer.

The charity also highlights that mRNA technology is being utilized to create new vaccines that are demonstrating potential in effectively preventing lung, ovarian, and other forms of cancer.

The UK’s Office for National Statistics has previously stated that it does not think tens of thousands of additional deaths in 2022-23, which some critics linked to vaccine-induced cancer, were genuinely caused by the vaccine.

In response to the study’s results, Dr. Benjamin Mazer, an assistant professor of pathology at Johns Hopkins University, stated: ‘No cancer-causing agent can trigger cancer that fast. Mutations require time to build up, and cells need time to multiply.’

The result being assessed is not the occurrence of cancer but its detection.

Once a cancer forms within the body, it typically requires time before it is noticed by the patient and the medical system.

How could anything possibly lead to a cancer that not only expands but becomes detectable within just a few days?

He also referenced data released earlier this year by the Official Journal of the Korean Cancer Association about cancer cases in South Korea up to 2022.

Figures show no increase in cases among the six cancers flagged in the study as being affected by the vaccines. 

“By this stage, the population was extensively vaccinated, and the effect is said to happen almost immediately, making this real-world data very conflicting,” Dr. Mazer stated.

It was Aseem Malhotra, a consultant to Robert Kennedy, who previously this month stated that the Covid vaccines were associated with the cancers of the King and the Princess of Wales.

At the Reform UK conference, he stated: ‘One of Britain’s leading oncologists, Professor Angus Dalgleish, shared with me that he believes the Covid vaccines are likely to have played a major role in the cancers affecting the royal family.’

During his address in Birmingham, at a gathering called ‘Make Britain Healthy Again’, Dr Malholtra asserted that research indicates mRNA vaccines may affect genetic material.

Dr. Malhotra, a heart specialist, also mentioned that receiving the Covid vaccine was more probable to result in damage compared to the virus itself.

However, his statements drew significant backlash, with Professor Brian Ferguson, a viral immunology professor at the University of Cambridge, stating: ‘There is no reliable evidence that these vaccines interfere with tumor suppressors or trigger any process that leads to cancer.’

It is especially rude to associate this fake science with the tragic cases of cancer in the royal family.

Wes Streeting, the minister for health, described it as “extremely reckless” for Reform to have permitted Dr. Malholtra to attend the event.

The party stated that it “does not support his remarks but upholds the principle of free speech.”

In 2023, Springer Nature remainedcompelled to apologize and withdrawA controversial study published in one of its journals, BMC Infectious Diseases, following an incorrect assertion that Covid vaccines have resulted in the deaths of as many as 280,000 individuals in the United States.

The study written by an economist from Michigan State University was quickly seized upon by anti-vaccine groups around the world.
