, November 8 – To enhance public involvement in the preservation of nature and wildlife, the Forest Department has initiated a volunteer registration program.

The program is being carried out by the Wildlife Management and Nature Conservation Department in Dhaka.

The initiative encourages people who are currently involved in or have an interest in wildlife conservation and awareness efforts, protection of animal habitats, and rescuing animals to sign up as volunteers.

The data gathered will be utilized for official reasons, stated a media announcement on Saturday.

Volunteers who are registered will get a chance to assist in wildlife conservation, combat illegal wildlife trafficking, restore ecosystems, and educate local populations.

The Forestry Department will offer essential training to registered volunteers.

According to the details shared by volunteers, special acknowledgment may also be provided for outstanding efforts in wildlife protection.
