A potential World War Two explosive device has been discovered in County Londonderry.

It was discovered in the Laurel Hill Road area of Coleraine just after 09:45 GMT on Wednesday.

Technical Officers for Ammunition were dispatched to the location along with police personnel.

Residents have not been required to leave, but the general public is being advised to stay away from the area.
