In Hama City, a neighborhood in Khan Yunis—a significant city located in southern Gaza—Palestinian couples wearing wedding clothes marched along a temporary wedding path during a combined wedding event that took place on the 2nd. In the Gaza Strip, which has experienced roughly two years of conflict, weddings had been suspended, but during the truce, approximately 50 couples who maintained their love throughout the war were united in marriage at this ceremony. Although a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was arranged by the United States on October 10th last month, fighting and casualties still continue in the Gaza Strip as both parties have breached the ceasefire agreement.
