The Royal Thai Army reported that Thailand has dismantled a casino that served as a drone control center for Cambodia and is now focusing on rocket facilities that pose a threat to Thai settlements.

An army spokesperson, Maj Gen Winthai Suvaree, stated on Monday that the casino functioned as a command post for operating drones. His remarks came after reports indicated that a Thai fighter jet had targeted a casino structure in the vicinity of Chong An Ma within the Nam Yuen district of Ubon Ratchathani earlier that day.

Major General Winthai stated that the Cambodian attacks on Sunday afternoon demonstrated a clear intent to harm Thailand, forcing the country to take defensive action. He mentioned that Thailand’s response aimed at dismantling Cambodia’s rocket facilities, which presented significant dangers to both military and civilian populations.

The individual mentioned that Cambodian rocket fire had previously resulted in major injuries on Thai territory during conflicts in July.

“The main objective is to eliminate as many of Cambodia’s supporting fire systems as possible,” the military representative stated.
