A fire occurred at a home in Uiseong County, North Gyeongsang Province, resulting in the death of two family members and one person being injured.

As reported by the North Gyeongsang Fire Headquarters on the 4th, a fire occurred approximately at 8:59 a.m. within a residence in Anpyeong-myeon, Uiseong County. A woman in her 60s and her daughter in her 30s, who were living there, were discovered deceased. The father, who is in his 80s and was also present, suffered second-degree burns and was taken to a nearby hospital for medical care.

16 fire engines and 39 firefighters were sent to put out the fire, which was contained within roughly an hour.

Law enforcement and fire department officials are examining the specific reason behind the blaze, which is thought to have started in the kitchen.
